Mortgage Document Checklist

  • PAYCHECK STUBS
  • FEDERAL INCOME TAX RETURNS for the last two years.
  • W-2’S – for the last two years.
  • BANK STATEMENTS –Last two (2) months- Checking and/or Savings
  • IRA’s, 401K, Mutual Funds, Etc. – Most recent statement
  • HOME OWNERS INSURANCE INFORMATION (all properties)
    (if condo or townhome association name and phone number)
  • DRIVER’S LICENSE

When Refinancing (in addition to items above)

  • CURRENT MORTGAGE STATEMENT (all mortgages)
  • CURRENT TAX BILL (all properties)

If applicable…

  • DIVORCE DECREE-Full copy including settlement agreement
  • BANKRUPTCY-Complete schedules and discharge papers
  • SOCIAL SECURITY CARD
  • Complete Copy of Trust Documents if Property is in a Trust
